Warranty Terms
  1. Warranty period of Digital Signage products from NETLINK ICT LLC is up to 36 months from the date of purchase.
  1. The warranty period of the accessories of Digital Signage products which are provided by the company is up to 6 months from the date of purchase.
  1. Proof of purchase is a prerequisite to claim warranty.
  1. Repair or replacement will be carried out through the company’s service center (refer to the list at www.netlinkict.ae or call customer care) or its authorized service center or its dealer’s service center.
  1. Repairs under warranty period shall be carried out by the company’s authorized personnel only. The details of service centers/support required are available at the company’s website: www.netlinkict.ae.
  1. For units installed beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the company’s authorized service center, it is the responsibility of the buyer to contact the nearest authorized service center and bring the unit for service to the authorized service center at buyer’s cost and risk.
  1. For units installed beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the authorized service center/company’s service center/authorized dealer’s service center, all expenses incurred in collection of  the unit or part(s) thereof from the company’s service center/authorized service center/authorized dealer’s service center, as well as expenses incurred in connection with deputing of service personnel/ technicians towards to and fro travel, conveyance and other incidentals etc. will be borne by the customer.
  1. Calls registered with the centralized helpline/authorized service center, wherein only cleaning of the unit/parts in the unit due to dust gathering on portions of the unit, general explanations/returning, particular software not being read/installed, are not to be construed as defects. The company does not undertake responsibility for the quality of software being used by the buyer.
  1. In the event of repairs/replacements of any part(s) of the unit, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.
  1. The company or its authorized service center/service dealer, reserves the right to retain any part(s) or component(s) replaced at its discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the equipment during the warranty period.
  1. In case of any damage to the product/misuse detected by the authorized service center personnel, the warranty conditions are not applicable and repairs will be done subject to availability of parts and on chargeable basis only.
  1.  In the event of any unforeseen circumstance, and spares not being available, the company’s prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the buyer to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.
  1.  In the event of the company offering EXTENDED WARRANTY period for any specific product/period, it is the RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER to get the warranty card duly registered with the nearest authorized service center of the company or directly from the company within 2 weeks of purchasing under such an offer, at the buyer’s cost and risk only.
  1.  Repairs during the warranty period shall be carried on a “Carry In” basis. Wherein for service the buyer shall bring the product to the service center with whom the unit(s) is registered for warranty service. The warranty does not cover the cost of transportation of the system from the place of installation to the service center.
  1. While carrying out repairs, the company may use accessories or parts that are new or refurbished or reconditioned.
  1. NETLINK ICT LLC shall not be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage that may result from use or inability to use the product. Under no circumstances shall the company be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the product.
  1. Warranty for the unexpired period shall continue after the product is inspected by the concerned service center and the product is found free from transit damage. The customer shall have to pay a visiting charge towards inspection, as applicable. In case of any transit damage, the product shall be repaired by the concerned service center on charges and warranty for an unexpired period to continue.
  1. Free Installation or Demo is available for SELECTED DISPLAY MODELS and the same can be availed only once within 6 months from the date of purchase. For some display models, installation might be chargeable and details with respect to the same can be checked from the company website/service center/call center.
  1. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of part(s) only. The maximum claim(s) if entertained by the company will be subject to the maximum retail price of the product purchased or the purchase price, whichever is lower.
  1. In the event of any unforeseen circumstance, and spares not being available, the company’s prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the buyer to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.
  1. In case of a defective accessory, only the accessory will be repaired or replaced.
  1. All disputes arising out of this warranty are subject to the Dubai Emirates jurisdiction only.
  1. The warranty period of the product(s) and accessories will be counted even across the trial period of any of the disputes regarding the product(s) or services.
  1. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or providing replacement of part(s), which are found to be defective.
  1. The company or its authorized service center will advise the customer whether to effect the repair at the site or its service center.
  1. Any part(s) of the system replaced by the company at its discretion shall be with a functionally operative part.
  1. Applicable service charges may be different for products purchased outside Dubai (other than Dubai Emirates).

THIS WARRANTY IS NOT APPLICABLE IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CASES:

  1. The product is not purchased directly from NETLINK ICT LLC or its authorized sales dealer.
  1. The product purchased is not used according to instructions given in the INSTRUCTION MANUAL, as determined by the authorized service center/company personnel.
  1. The product is not used as per its usage specifications.
  1. The product is not operated with company-provided or specified accessories.
  1. Defects caused by improper use, as determined by the authorized service center/company personnel.
  1. If the product has failed under certain conditions/types (example: water-logging, misuse etc.).
  1. Modification or alterations of any nature made in the circuitry by the buyer or unauthorized personnel, as determined by the company personnel.
  1. Site (premises where the product is kept) conditions that do not conform to the recommended operating conditions of the machine/unit.
  1. The original serial number/machine number is removed, obliterated or altered from the product.
  1. Defects due to causes beyond control like lightning, abnormal voltage, acts of God or while in transit to a service center or to the buyer’s residence.
  1. Defects caused by household pets, rats, cockroaches or any other animals or insects.
  1. Warranty does not cover any third party software, settings, content, data or links, whether included/’- DOWNLOADed in product.
  1. Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (including, without limitation, wear and tear of camera lenses (if included), pluggable Wi-Fi module, etc.).
  1. Warranty does not cover defects or alleged defects caused by the fact that the product was used with, or connected to, a product, accessories, software and/or service not manufactured, supplied or authorized by NETLINK ICT LLC or was used otherwise than for its intended use, defects can be caused by viruses from or from third parties or unauthorized access to services, other accounts, computer systems or networks. This unauthorized access can take place through hacking, password-mining or through a variety of means.
  1. Warranty does not cover if seal(s) are torn or weird over any of the add-on modules or show evidence of tampering or by the fact that the module has been used in equipment other than those for which it has been specified.
  1. Warranty does not cover repair due to external factors/medium/data types.
  1. Repair due to misuse/third party repair attempts are not covered in the warranty.

Under no circumstance the company is liable for loss directly or indirectly for any of the following:

  • Third party claims against customers for losses or damages.
  • Loss or damages to records, information or data.
  • Economic consequential damages including lost profits.
  • Customers are advised to take backup of the internal storage contents before handing over the unit for repair/service. The company shall not provide internal storage backup service.
  • In case of repair, internal storage contents may be destroyed and customers will not be informed in advance. The company shall not be liable for any data, records or programs lost due to repair.

Overseas Product(s)

Any product which is either purchased from outside the territory of UAE as a direct purchase or the products that are not sold by NETLINK ICT LLC  in UAE will be termed as ‘Overseas Product(s)’. Such overseas products can be repaired at the authorized service center with cost. However, this may vary from product to product and region to region. There may be some overseas products which will be non-repairable in UAE.

  • Before handing over the product at the service center, you need to check whether the product is repairable or not.
  • Check the repair cost and repair time at the service center before handing over the product as the repair may take a bit longer than usual.
  • You will have to incur the entire cost of repair at the rates informed by the service center.
  • NETLINK ICT LLC shall not be liable to repair the products for which either the parts are not available or are not being produced any more by the company.
  • Further, any such overseas product will be non-repairable, if there is severe difference, in terms of product specification or if there is difference in the service environment such as difference of bandwidth, voltage, etc. and no claims will be entertained in this regard.

N.B: All the above Warranty Terms are applicable for the overseas product(s) except clause number 22.

Defective Product – Applicable Policy

 

  1. Where a customer finds that a product is not working: upon opening of the product package within 7 days from the date of purchase or within 7 days of product activation in case of software(s), the customer may visit any of the authorized service center(s) of NETLINK ICT LLC  for due redressal of the product along with the original brand package, all accessories and original invoice.

NETLINK ICT LLC authorized service centers

  1. The product will be thoroughly checked at NETLINK ICT LLC or authorized service center(s) of NETLINK ICT LLC, as per company approved technical parameters and policies. Post assessment and confirmation of genuine manufacturing defect, if any, by authorized service center(s) or by company itself, the product may be replaced or in case of unavailability of stock of same or similar product, an equivalent to the consideration paid by the customer for purchasing the product will be provided to the customer, as per facts & circumstances and in terms of applicable company policy(ies).
